Granite State College

Over 50 years ago, the University System of New Hampshire embraced a powerful goal: no matter where you live, no matter your age or income, if you're motivated to pursue a college education, you should have access to it. In our earlier days as College for Lifelong Learning, we featured evening and weekend classes that fit the schedules of working adults. We steadily built upon this foundation as Granite State College. After celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2022, we merged with the University of New Hampshire to become the UNH College of Professional Studies in 2023. We are so thankful to our alumni for enabling us to honor our rich history and look forward to a bright future together as members of the UNH Alumni Community. While our name has changed, our mission of providing accessible education to adult learners has not.
