This provides, at the very least, maximum time to adequately prepare an award winning application. But, as we all know, many grant announcements do not provide adequate time for successful competition given the resources available at the tribal level. By subscripting to and following our subscription eNewsletter, Tribal Leaders and their Grant Writers can often correlate upcoming grants with community needs months prior to the Federal agencies’ formal announcements. This effectively extends the allowable time for submission and allows their Tribe to plan for upcoming grants rather than simply react to late breaking Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFA).
