Graphite is a Montreal-based publication and global community of thinkers and artists. Through our articles, special issues, and community gatherings, we provide a digital platform for the voices of young, critical thinkers since 2013. Our mission is twofold: to promote local culture and innovation while presenting perspectives that cut across both geography and discipline. Actively benefiting from our city’s cosmopolitan demography, we have roots and networks stretching across the world. Our existence is a complex and nuanced one, and truth often lies at the intersection of numerous interconnected viewpoints and forms of expression. Having come of age in a globalized digital era, our generation has been exposed to a volume of information and discourse unprecedented in human history. We believe the dialectical power of discourse and critique to be a necessary solution. By participating in this dynamic cycle, Graphite aims to provide a meeting point for inspired creation and intellectual exploration.
