Grateful Pies is inspired from an era before food was mass produced. When labels didn't include a range of chemicals and mysterious ingredients. Our founder has passionately shared her plant-based creation, evolving from a dish inscribed from her grandmother's recipe book. Our ethos emphasises gratitude and sharing. Bringing people together to enjoy a heart-warming delicious evolved classic of the French-Canadian Tourtíere, sharing moments of gratitude with every bite. Each pie is handmade with a flakey olive oil crust and a delicious filling of green lentil, Bramley apple, onion, celery, mushroom and potato. All seasoned with a secret blend of aromatic spices. Our ingredients list is simply made up of fresh wholefoods and contains absolutely no inflammatory seed oils or preservatives. Our pie is an alternative to the traditional meat dishes that have historically featured as the centerpiece of the table. The pie is the perfect communal food – convenient, healthy, tasty, and can be enjoyed by everyone – children, vegans, vegetarians, meat-eaters, people of all ages and from all different culinary backgrounds. The pie itself can serve two people or four children, perfect for a group of people or family. We suggest serving the pie with sides of your choice.
