Graype

Graype Systems is a micro organization, with staff comprising only two full-time and one part-time employees, dedicated to research and development of free and open source software for Natural Language Processing. We are passionate about technical innovation and believe in quality, standards and comprehensive documentation. WinkNLP is our flagship open source NLP tool from our larger suite, WinkJS. WinkNLP has been used across various industry verticals such as healthcare, technology, and education. It has also been used in conjunction with foundation models. Besides our open source contributions, Graype extends its expertise in AI, Streaming and IoT through niche consulting and mentoring to customers. These services also fund our open source development. Notable examples of our past mentoring projects are (a) development of strategic analytics and AI services around telematics data for an automotive giant,(b) customer segmentation and preference analysis for an entertainment major,(c) improving customer service quality by leveraging AI for an insurance services provider, and (d) assisting a power distribution company in power demand forecasting.
