Grease Monkey China

Grease Monkey International Inc.(GMI), was founded in 1978 and is the largest independently-owned franchisor of automotive preventive maintenance centers in the United States and Mexico. To Date, GMI has over had 300 service centers open and in construction, and provides service for more than 4 million vehicles every year. Grease Monkey chose Qingdao as the first city and as the gateway to its footprint for investing in China. Established as Grease Monkey (Qingdao) Automotive Services LLC (GMQ), it has become the largest foreign merchant investment automotive service company in Shandong area. Over the next 5 years, Grease Monkey plans to open more than 30 centers throughout Qingdao, and more than 120 centers in the Shandong province. Beyond the Shandong province, Grease Monkey is targeting to open over 300 centers throughout all of Mainland China.
