Great Circle Associates was founded with a single purpose: To enable leaders and leadership teams to break from the shackles of the status quo when business models need reimagined and at inflection points in leaders' careers. Founded in 2008 by President Linda C. Coughlin, GCA is a management consulting practice specializing in executive coaching and business, organization and communications strategy and implementation in support of decisions to and initiatives aimed at breaking from the status quo. I advise executives, entrepreneurs,high potential fast track leaders and leadership teams who are advancing strategies that call for transitions to new end states. A seasoned operating executive, I am a collaborative, results driven innovator and thought leader in complex high states situations that call for significant and sustained changes to the status quo. I spent the last 20 years of my 35 year career in corporate America leading the successful implementation of transformational initiatives in rapidly shifting and volatile environments. This included several successful start-ups, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, turn-arounds, downsizings and re-branding initiatives at American Express Company, Citibank, Scudder Investments, Linkage, Inc. and Cendant Corporation. I have spent more than a decade coaching and mentoring leaders and leadership teams on five continents. My approach to executive coaching features immersive experiences over short and long periods of time. We create measurable time-bound objectives and outcomes that are aligned with the strategic priorities of the organizations my clients lead. I use a variety of strategic assessment tools to inform the development of their portfolios of responsibility and their leadership skills,"shadowing" them through here-and-now situations that call on the leadership skills they seek to leverage and those they seek to strengthen.
