Great Eastern Group, Inc is a global marine engineering, offshore power and fiber optic construction firm specializing in program management, environmental compliance, geophysical surveys, ship management & operations, and marine construction management, installation and oversight. GEG is a 100% woman owned 8(a), marine engineering, environmental consulting, and crewing business operating globally and based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition, GEG is certified as a small disadvantaged, emerging, small business by the US Government. Established in 2002 as an S Corporation, GEG provides program/project management, engineering services-including mechanical, electrical and architectural services, submarine fiber optic cable system terrestrial, shallow water and main cable lay, and shore end installation operations. Additionally, GEG contracts to Carrier Strike Group FOUR for the operation, maintenance, and repair of four Training Support Vessels (TSV's) that provide a wide variety of training and target support to a multitude of naval vessels for battle readiness.
