Great Lakes Biochar Network
The Great Lakes Biochar Network (GLBN) is a new initiative hosted by Michigan State University to bring together all those in the Great Lakes region that are involved with or are interested in biochar- from producers to distributors to end users to researchers and anyone in-between. A primary goal is to hold informative events about biochar and link people together to strengthen the GLB Network. This will in part be done by a social network analysis to determine who is involved with biochar in the region. By knowing more about what biochar is available and how it might affect soils and crops in our specific region, we can help the growing biochar industry to be most effective.
