The close of 2016 marked the end of an era and the beginning of exciting things for GLB, starting with our flagship publication: Great Lakes Boating Magazine. With a new publisher- Greg Larsen- at the helm, we spent 2017 deep in market research asking just one question."Who is the Great Lakes boater?" In 2018 we launched a new editorial direction, an entirely new structure, and a new design. All three of these elements combine to produce a publication you can't find with a Google search, capturing the heart of the Great Lakes. Owning the trademark to the phrase Great Lakes Boating is not only a great advantage in the cutthroat world of SEO optimization, but it's also a weighty responsibility. We are the first place people turn for anything boating related on the Great Lakes. We've taken that responsibility to a new level this year, by launching the Great Lakes Boating Marina Guide.
