Great Lakes Museum

The Great Lakes Museum, located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada is open year round for individual and group tours including school tours. Guided tour of the 'Kingston Dry Dock and Pumphouse National Historic Site' are available by appointment. Bus tours are welcome. We are now home to the S.S. Keewatin, the oldest remaining Edwardian-era (Titanic-era) passenger steamship in the world. Ship tours are available from May-October. Located in downtown Kingston, Ontario just minutes from City Hall, the Great Lakes Museum is a primary tourist destination in Kingston and offers year-round programs to the community. The Museum is wheel chair accessible. Marine history researchers will find extensive collections of documents, books, photographs, artefacts, ship plans, tools, and records. Researchers interested in making use of the Museum's facilities are encouraged to book in advance with the Curator.
