In 2010 the company introduced the concept of Green Gas to Britain and became a fully-fledged deep Green Energy company. More recently the company has started building plants to produce our very own Green Gas from grass. It’s a pretty revolutionary idea that could transform the way we heat our homes in a sustainable way. The company operates a unique model. It uses customers’ energy bills to fund the building of new sources of Green Energy. ‘Bills into Mills’ – energy bills into windmills. It is a not-for-dividend company – profits go into the mission. Since kickstarting and accelerating the green energy revolution, the Group has evolved to pump-prime the decarbonisation of many of the big-emitting sectors and industries from the development of a national network of EV charge points known as The Electric Highway to the world of Sport.
