Many analysis believe that the nationwide housing crisis is currently peaking, as mortgage defaults and foreclosures continue to increase at unprecedented rates and adjustable rate mortgages (ARM's) reset in record numbers. We will operate in a region in Texas that has been particularly hard hit by the downturn, which includes the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan area, Austin, San Antonio and Houston. This presents a substantial opportunity. While many investors back away when the market trends suddenly and unexpectedly lower, we will directly benefit from it, with less competition from unsophisticated investors who no longer have access to easy credit. In addition, many other would-be competitors erroneously judged the market and are failing under the crippling debt of overpriced pre-2009 purchases.
