An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a certificate which gives you evaluation on how efficient a building/dwelling is. An EPC is carried out by our fully trained and Stroma certificated Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA’s) will survey the property. The certificate will show ratings from A-G; A being the most efficient and G being the least. Once this survey is carried out and the certificate is created, it will show measures that should be taken to save you from inflated energy bills. How an EPC is carried out? Firstly, the energy survey is performed by a qualified energy assessor (DEA). Who visits the property and examines key items within the premises such as loft insulation, domestic boiler, hot water tank, radiators, windows for double glazing, light bulbs etc. Once adding key elements into a the software, the programme will then calculate the energy rating for property.
