Green Iglu

Green Iglu is a charitable organization dedicated to ensuring every Canadian has fresh, nutritious food on their plate. Through community-led partnerships, we build multi-season greenhouses that deliver bountiful harvests of vegetables, berries and culturally significant plants in regions where cost and distance are barriers. Accompanying training and education ensures ongoing independent success, community engagement across generations, and opportunities for expansion. Our work largely benefits remote and Indigenous communities, but we welcome all partners with a promise of tailor-made, culturally appropriate projects.
