Green Valley Water

Green Valley Water (GVW) is a Special Taxing District, authorized under Arizona Revised Statutes Title 48, proudly serving the greater Payson, Arizona area. We provide essential wastewater collection and treatment, reuse water production and distribution, and biosolids remediation services to approximately residential and commercial customers. Our operations are powered by a commitment to environmental stewardship and compliance, holding two discharge permits from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality: an AZPDES permit for stream discharge and an APP for discharge to the Town of Payson Green Valley Park lake system. GVW operates a state-of-the-art 3.5 MGD Bardenpho biological nutrient removal treatment facility, supported by a dedicated wastewater treatment department. Our collection system department manages approximately 180 miles of gravity sewer lines, low-pressure sewer lines, force mains, and reclaimed water distribution lines. We also maintain an Arizona Department of Health Safety certified laboratory for compliance and process control testing, alongside a maintenance department overseeing all treatment facility equipment, 14 sewer lift stations, and 3 reclaimed water booster stations.
