Greenrail s.r.l. is an Italian company that designed and patented an innovative and eco-friendly railway sleeper made up of an inner core in concrete and an outer shell obtained from a mix of recycled plastic and rubber collected from ELTs (End of Life Tires). Compared to concrete sleepers, Greenrail™ reduces the cost of maintenance of lines, contributes to reduce noise and vibration levels, and increases sleeper's lifespan.
