Grenoble Inp-Pagora

Grenoble INP – Pagora, UGA, is a state-funded graduate school of engineering specialising in the fields of fibre, biobased materials, paper and print media. It offers masters-level and apprenticeship-based engineering training with the support of major industry and research players in France and abroad. As one of the eight graduate schools of engineering and management schools of Grenoble INP Institute of Engineering and Management, Grenoble Alpes University, Grenoble INP – Pagora has been involved in the circular bioeconomy and plant-based chemistry since the day it was founded. The school trains future professionals in the fibre, paper, printing, packaging and biobased materials sectors, ensuring that they will be able to pick up the environmental challenges our society faces. A partner to various institutions around the world and a member of UNITE, Grenoble INP – Pagora teaches its 2nd year modules in English and encourages international mobility through internships and exchange semesters, allowing students to develop their capacity to work in an intercultural and international setting. The school also boasts its own research unit, the Laboratory of Process Engineering for Biorefinery, Bio-based Materials and Functional Printing (LGP2), which is used by French and foreign researchers and doctoral students. They conduct research on nanocellulose, the valorisation of plant biomass and printing processes for surface functionalisation. The laboratory is run under the auspices of the CNRS, Grenoble INP – UGA and the Agefpi.
