Grey Sky Counseling is a professional counseling service located on the Eastside of Seattle, WA. We understand how often life can feel overwhelming, thus we use the imagery and language of “mountain expeditions” because life — like climbing a mountain — can be both exhilarating and terrifying. The therapeutic journey can be a rewarding and life-changing process. Similar to mountaineering, reaching the summit is no easy task. While having the right gear and guide are essential, each expedition requires profound dedication, self-determination, and passionate desire. We equip our clients with the necessary skills and tools to confront our sense of powerlessness while successfully conquering the mountains of fear, hurt, sadness, anger, loneliness, guilt, and shame. Operating as a “therapeutic basecamp”, we are dedicated to encouraging, equipping, and empowering our clients as they navigate the difficult terrain of relational turmoil, emotional pain, and the devastating impact of trauma. While hurt, harm, and neglect play a significant role in stories of survivors, we believe thriving is possible for all. The key to thriving is a clear path to the summit. We help you find your path.
