Gridwise Alliance

The GridWise Alliance (GWA), founded in 2003, brings together the ecosystem of industry stakeholders to discuss and develop solutions and policies to address the complex issues associated with the transformation of our electric system to meet the needs of America in the twenty-first century. GWA advocates for these solutions with key legislators and regulators; and works collaboratively with other stakeholder organizations toward the vision of a reliable, resilience, flexible, innovative and modern electric system. Our members include: • Investor-owned, municipal and public power utilities; • Information technology, telecommunications and other service and equipment providers; • Independent System Operators (ISOs) & Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs); • Colleges and universities; and, • Energy consultants.
