Grindstone Bakery

Grindstone is a small artisan bakery, located in Sonoma County, California. We have recreated ancient methods of bread making in order to bring you the most nutritious and flavorful loaves. All of our bread and cookies are free of (modern) wheat, yeast, and dairy and some are also GLUTEN FREE. Our nutrient dense loaves are made with 100% organic whole grains that are stone ground into a coarse creamy flour just before the dough is mixed. After a long natural fementation, the loaves are finally baked in our custom wood fired brick oven to a dark golden perfection: the pure and vibrant expression of naturally fermented whole grains and the magic of fire.
