Thank you for visiting our store! My partner and I are lifelong bibliophiles who have been collecting rare and unique books for over 20 years, amassing an eclectic collection of thousands of titles. We've decided to share our passion for collecting, storytelling, and learning by building a brand and community that is as open and welcoming to budding collectors as to experienced buyers. Our goal is not to be all things to all people. Instead, we curate an ever-changing selection of rare, scarce, and unique books and literary inspired gifts around topics and themes we enjoy. We specialize in "very good books in very good condition." A great number are very rare first and limited editions, with many signed as well. Our team also celebrates illustrators, and we love titles brought to life through collaborations with wonderful artists. Grinning Cat Books is online only for now. With that said, we're opening a by-appointment library soon and you will also see us at local events along the East Coast in 2022. We hope you come back soon and often!
