grounded. is the first of its kind with innovation at its centre – dedicated to the future wellbeing of visitors from all angles - from their mental and physical wellbeing to supporting and advocating for environmental sustainability and social change. This includes, where reasonably possible, healthy and vegetarian catering, social and ethical purchasing and contracting and accessibility and inclusion within a well maintained, safe and compliant environment. Since 2023, grounded. has offered support to over people; either through NHS Talking Therapies, free workshops, or simply by providing a safe space where a cup of coffee meets a moment of mindfulness. grounded. St Pauls is a comfortable, healthy and relaxed environment for local people to visit for coffee and Talking Therapies. In addition, it nurtures not only the wellbeing of Service Users, but also that of Service Providers – with a dedicated wellbeing space for staff. grounded. Selly Oak is a community focussed wellbeing cafe and hub, offering a comfortable, accessible, and inclusive space for the local community, mostly University of Birmingham students, to visit for coffee, therapeutic workshops, wellbeing activities and social events. Three evenings a week will be operated by Birmingham Mind to deliver their Talking Spaces, which is a drop in safe space for anyone who is feeling low, needs emotional support or experiencing a mental health crisis. grounded. Hall Green is a community focussed wellbeing hub offering a safe, accessible and non-intimidating place to visit to discuss options for mental health support as well as attend wellbeing workshops and community events, all of which aim to improve mental wellbeing, remove the stigma around mental health and bring the community together.
