Grounds Krewe reduces the negative impacts of events on our community & planet's resources, without diminishing the fun and joy, so NOLA can keep the party going in a manner that can be sustained for generations to come. New Orleans is world renowned for letting the good times roll - From Mardi Gras to Jazz Fest and every event in between. As a coastal city below sea level, New Orleans is facing the climate crisis head on, creating urgency to protect our community and its resources. At Grounds Krewe, we believe doing both is possible by embedding environmental stewardship as a contagious component of the local event culture. We do this by tackling the entire system of event waste, from the products that go into NOLA events to the responsible management of what comes out of NOLA events.
