Grow With Trees

Grow With Trees (GWT) is an environmental consulting company inspired by the prospect that humanity can learn a lot from trees about how to co-exist on Earth for millennia. Striving for an out-of-the-box approach, GWT began working with electric utilities in 2016 to challenge conventional practices for establishing and managing vegetation. Since then, GWT has built a reputation as a forward-thinking catalyst for positive environmental change in the utility industry. GWT works with individual electric, gas, and solar companies as well as industry associations, research institutions, government agencies, and non-profits to promote environmental stewardship through integrated vegetation management (IVM). In particular, GWT focuses on the protection and enhancement of beneficial, compatible vegetation that fosters wildlife habitat and improves biodiversity, in addition to meeting safety, compliance, reliability, and cost objectives of managed lands. GWT provides a suite of socialization, training, planning, and reporting services to help organizations integrate habitat and biodiversity management into their sustainable business operations. We engage and empower teams across an organization—from the fieldworkers (i.e, boots on the ground) to upper management (i.e, the suits in the boardroom)—to implement positive, stewardship-driven behavior change. Our holistic approach enables our customers to transform their vegetation management programs using innovative approaches, cutting-edge training, data-driven insights, and industry best practices, which contributes to a sustainable and resilient landscape for generations to come.
