Gruppo Otologico

English Founded by Prof. Mario Sanna in 1983, the Gruppo Otologico (GO) is the department of Otology & Skull Base Surgery of the Piacenza Private accredited Health Clinic. Over the last three decades, the GO has posed itself as a front-runner in its field providing treatment for deafness, complex diseases of the skull base and other rare pathologies. The GO is today widely recognized as one of the premier centers in the world in its specialty and has been recognised as the 1st Centre in Italy for Middle Ear Treatment and Cochlear Implants. The GO is dedicated to Otology, Implantology and Skull Base Pathology. The GO is a also a center of excellence for hearing rehabilitatory procedures like Cochlear Implants, Auditory Brain-stem Implants and other middle ear implants. Italiano Il Gruppo Otologico (GO), fondato nel 1983 dal Prof. Mario Sanna, è il reparto di Otorinolaringoiatria della Casa di Cura Piacenza. Negli ultimi tre decenni, il GO si è posto come un front-runner nel suo settore nel trattamento della sordità, malattie complesse della base cranica e altre patologie rare. Il Gruppo è oggi riconosciuto come uno dei centri più importanti al mondo nella sua specialità. Il GO è dedicato all'Otologia, Implantologia e alle patologie della base cranica. Il GO è un anche un centro di eccellenza nella riabilitazione auditiva, negli impianti cocleari e dell'orecchio medio.
