We are a private, neutral, non-profit business organization. We have introduced bar codes in Portugal for more than 30 years, the most well-known Standard GS1 in the world. GS1 Standards have revolutionized the way business are done and have transformed consumers' lives. We are recognized by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers as Public Utility Entity.
