After pioneering the development of mobile VAS in Cameroon and Nigeria since its inception in 2002, GTS Africa vision is to become the first Pan-African alternative operator of A2P VoIP & SMS communications network based on ID virtual fixed numbers for Businesses in African countries and its Diaspora. After several years of R&D and thanks to its technological partnerships with internationally renowned companies, GTS Africa has designed and deployed its GTS network, with the objective of being operated in several African countries by local alternative telecom operators owning a license as well as a range of virtual fixed numbers supporting Voice & SMS services accessible to all local GSM mobile subscribers. This is the case of GTS-Infotel Cameroon which, as a licensed telecom operator and thanks to its strategic partnership with CAMTEL, the incumbent operator, has since January 2021 became the 1st local Operator of the GTS network based on virtual fixed numbers dedicated to businesses of all sizes.
