Guardian Farm

We are Guardians. Located in the cloud forest of Peru, we are a reforestation and ecological regeneration project rooted in care for the land, the community, and the future. Our work is active, participatory, and built by people: with soil, pollinators, native species, and kindness. We support species biodiversity, agroecological design, and land-based learning. From our Bee & Butterfly Refuge to our seed-saving practices and gardens, everything we do is grounded in service and restoration. Our reforestation work mimics the natural patterns of the cloud forest, integrating native hardwoods, supportive species, and fruit-bearing trees. We partner with local NGOs to cultivate seedlings and educate communities in sustainable forestry practices. Our land regeneration work includes hugelkultur, large-scale composting, natural pond systems, spirulina cultivation, vermiculture, and biogas all focused on good soil and healing chemically damaged soil to restore ecological balance. Pollinators play a vital role in our ecosystem. Guardian Farm is home to many hives of native stingless bees, and we’re developing a pollinator refuge and educational path to protect and expand their habitat. Monarchs and butterflies are welcomed through intentional planting and conscious habitat preservation. We’ve hosted hundreds of international volunteers and love working with like-minded groups. Whether planting trees, supporting community elders, or sharing spirulina cultures to combat anemia, we believe in humble, tangible, hands-on solutions. We are always learning. Whether you're a researcher, student, practitioner, or simply curious, we welcome connection, collaboration, and shared purpose. Stewardship is not a trend. For us, it’s a way of life.
