Gubbachi Learning Community

Gubbachi" means sparrows in Kannada -"Gubbis" with love We emote with the fast disappearing and unacknowledged sparrows from the urban landscape - much like our migrant children living in make-shift blue tarpaulin house. Our endeavour is to recognise their struggles and take meaningful education to underserved children Our intervention design stems from twin beliefs • public education is the only sustainable option for underserved families, and • integration into formal public schooling, with quality learning, will move the needle for this child All our work recognises the need to empower migrant families in an alien urban space.
