Guidance Care provide safe, stable and nurturing homes with a consistent family environment for young people aged 8-17. Promoting education, health and wellbeing, safety, enjoyment and achievement whilst developing positive relationships. The structure of our homes enables and encourages young people to develop the skills required to live within a family structure and our staff offer a high level of consistency to deal with the young person’s identified needs. Encouraging physical and leisure activities are fundamental to our model of care due to the positive holistic benets, including the opportunity to experience success and a sense of achievement for our young people. Our service actively consults young people in the home and introduces them to a wide variety of activities, this enables young people to nd something favourable to them and meets their specic individual needs. Young people within the care system can often feel that they are isolated and ‘different’. At Guidance Care we strive to break that stigma and provide opportunities and a positive experience for each young person. We believe that a residential experience can and should be positive for young people and that our service provide. We are always looking to recruit caring individuals to join our growing team.
