Create a reading workshop driven by students’ independent reading and reflection in addition to shared reading experiences such as literature circles and reader-response journals. •Develop a writing workshop approach for various genre studies including feature articles, memoirs, research-based projects and commentary utilizing the writing process. •Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop professionally in topics such as reading strategies, achievement-based assessment, and curriculum mapping.
