Guilin Sunny School

Guilin Sunny School, founded in September is the first privately owned international and bilingual school in Guilin, Guangxi, China. From the beginning, it has been our goal to create an environment where students are able to receive a balanced and well-rounded education in core subjects such as math, science, computers, physical education, and the arts, with an added emphasis on advanced English and Chinese language programs. We believe that promoting a bilingual curriculum for young children is the key to enabling students to achieve a balanced education. We have put this vision into practice through the creation of our international program with the goal of putting children from different cultural and language backgrounds into the same classroom where they are exposed daily to both English and Chinese languages. Our teachers have extensive experience in studying and teaching Chinese and English in order to create the best learning environment for all of our students. To augment our top-tier local staff, we have also been able to attract teachers from the United States who offer an authentic learning experience for our students. This two-pronged approach has helped give our students a head start by providing a solid language base. We also organize numerous field trips outside of school. These trips allow our students to have the opportunity to see how languages and other classroom concepts impact everyday life and to inspire them to set goals for themselves. Today Sunny School has over 200 teachers and students from many western countries as well as various regions throughout China. Throughout our relatively brief history, Sunny School has already had numerous alumni go on to higher education both in China and abroad. Our staff is dedicated to continuing this tradition of excellence by helping our students grow into educated, well-rounded, successful and independent adults. We would be honored to have you join us!
