Gvd-Afrique

GVD-Afrique is a socially oriented private training centre setup by eleven researchers and which focus its activities on training, consulting, research and development of appropriate waste management solution. We work namely on two fundamental objectives which are: 1. The fight against poverty through the provision of income to the rural poor; and 2. Promoting a clean environment in urban centres and their surroundings by providing a long-term solution to the problem of municipal and industrial waste management; GVD-Afrique endeavors Continuous development of equipment and tools for collecting, conditioning and transforming wasteto resource which creates value and revenues to local population in the field of building, farming, energy, etc. These equipments have the particularity of mainly being processed out of waste, with simple operating system and clean energy source (solar or physical energy). Beyond the marketing of green products and clean technology, GVD - Afrique promotes environmental communication and education to poor community areas. Besides the advanced technology in the field of waste recovery to community goods, we move forwards in recovering waste to potential contributes towards biodiversity preservation and desertification control. Indeed, GVD-Afrique has developed simple approaches through which it promotes biodiversity and land recovery by fighting against overgrazing and desertification control.
