Heritage & Contemporary Joinery has been established now for over 10 years, formely known as Gateshead Joinery, based in County Durham, the heart of the North East. This location enables us to service customers as far South as York, and North, up to the Scottish borders. From our workshop we still like to do things the traditional way, manufacturing by hand, bespoke timber windows, doors, conservatories, gates, built in furniture, specialist moulding's and staircases, well basically anything out of wood! With a full onsite fitting service available for all internal and external joinery, using either our in-house time served craftsmen, or carefully selected and trusted sub-contractors, this ensures the continuity of quality, from manufacture, through to installation. We are members of the British Woodworking federation and an approved Accoya joinery manufacturer. As well as our workshop joinery we also offer onsite commercial joinery works
