Founded by Hugo Theophile in Germany in 1882, the company was brought to New York City as a family business by fourth generation, Erich Theophile. H. Theophile specializes custom hardware design and in developing highly engineered hardware solutions for private residences, yachts and superyachts, as well as high-end developer-driven projects in the US and worldwide.
