Public Notary Notary Public are Notaries. As a Notary Public we are proven integrity appointed by the government to serve the public as an impartial witness. The main functions are to detect and deter fraud and to facilitate the workings of commerce and law by lending creditability to sensitive signed documents. The acts that we perform are called notarial acts or notarizations. State law defines how they may be performed. In general, Notaries have the authority to perform the following acts: • Acknowledgments. • Jurats. • Oaths and Affirmations. • Copy certifications. • Proofs of execution by subscribing witness. • Witnessing signatures. • Legal documents • Ensure that all stamps, seals and papers are kept safely under lock and key. • Interview clients briefly to ensure that they understand the mechanics of affidavits and other. • Determine the eligibility of documents and clients' intentions by indulging them in conversation. • Verify identification documents such as birth certificates, social security cards, passports and state issued identification. • Sign prepared documents and affix stamps and seals on them in a bid to provide approval. • Create and prepare records of items notarized and ensure that they are in correct order for public reference. • Collecting and notarizing signatures and delivering settlement checks. • Assist individuals with bill of sales, title transfers, cash sales, provisional custody by mandate, powers of attorney, and affidavits. • Provide reliable, convenient, error-free, and door-to-door notary public services. Working as an independent Notary Public Responsible for completing accurate, professional, on-time remote notary requests working from a home-based office equipped with the lasted computer equipment, high-speed internet and a business and fax phone system.
