HAAHJEM®AS is a Norwegian manufacturer and supplier of high quality equipment applied in the mineral industry and circular economy. Besides of providing own designed machinery globally, the company also represents for the Norwegian market supplementary products for re-known European industry manufacturers. The company has its main activity within in sales of machinery and equipment within crushing, screening, separation, sorting, bulk transportation, ship loading and un-loading facilities, and related product support sales of wear and spare parts. The company is located with office and manufacturing facilities at Vigra, outside the city Aalesund on the West Coast of Norway. The factory plant is customised for heavy duty machinery with proper crane capacity, forklift trucks and in-door storage facilities. The premises is located with 15 minutes reach from Aalesund city centre, 5 mins from Aalesund Airport Vigra and 400 meters from RO-RO and deep water quays Aalesund Port, Gjösund. The HAAHJEM-family has long traditions in the mechanical industry. The company with the family name HAAHJEM was founded in 1915 by Knut Haahjem, starting as a manufacturer of semi diesel engines to the fishing vessels. The company entered with bulk handling in the 1950’s and later developed several innovative solutions when supplying fish handling and fileting factories integrated on fishing trawlers in the beginning of 1960’s. The history tells that HAAHJEM® was the Originator of Track Mounted Crushing and Screening Plants and launched the first units as early as in 1985 – changing the whole business of rock crushing. HAAHJEM® is today represented by KAHRU AS – a modern supplier of ingenious engineered products.
