Habit was founded in 2013 by Aja Frierson, a woman of color passionate about both plant-based nutrition and makeup whose goal was to build a toxin-free, sustainably-packaged makeup brand rooted in inclusivity- Our nail polish and makeup is non-toxic, vegan and cruelty-free - Our products are blended with nourishing skincare ingredients to soothe and support your skin and nail health - Our packaging is both stunning, sustainable and cute enough to leave out on your bathroom counter. We're the only polish brand to use recycled plastic components and FSC-certified paperboard boxes, and our makeup is housed in reusable aluminum and glass jars - 60+ trend-relevant yet wearable colors curated by a former fashion industry colorist to flatter your skin tone - Our products are certified by Leaping Bunny, PeTA, FSC and 1% for the Planet, and our makeup is Certified Organic - We giveback 2% of annual sales to support ocean cleanup and to provide fresh produce to food desert communities here in L.A.
