Habitance is a pioneering studio specialising in Energy Positive Architecture and Urban Design. Each project considers the three pillars of sustainability, Environmental, Social and Economical, which Habitance calls Energy Positive Architecture. This mission improves lives through design, creates adaptable energy positive environments which benefit users, communities and constructively impacts the world for future generations. The practice has a strong focus on the interface between architecture, engineering, urban design, and landscape which, combined with social responsibility, results in designing with a conscience. Habitance offers a unique blend of fine-grained placemaking, public transport infrastructure and city-scale infrastructure capabilities but is also happy to work with individuals and organisations on house designs, development opportunities and community projects. Habitance is located in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast and works with clients throughout Queensland.
