At Habitemos we believe that every human being has the right to a dignified home, we create homes to help a big sector of our society to escape from extreme poverty and injustice, we design homes that allow them to live a fuller and more productive life. Decent spaces where they reaffirm their dignity and guarantee the development of their families and communities. We work with poor communities, supporting their right to a full life. We advocate to improve living conditions and protect the natural resources on which communities in extreme poverty depend. We work hand in hand with poor communities to implement programs that lead to self-sustaining livelihoods, sources of work within their own communities, transformational sources for greater social and economic development. We want to empower the most vulnerable communities by providing them with education and health, an essential step towards ending extreme poverty and marginalization. That is why in every development we include rural schools and clinics, granting them access to health and education services. Fostering a human culture in favor of social inclusion. We promote a preventive culture in the face of natural disasters that cause indescribable suffering to these unprotected communities, and keeps them enslaved to poverty and marginalization. In terms of our mission is to conceptualize preventive projects that provide physical and emotional security in the face of the damage caused by a natural disaster We combat marginalization and extreme poverty, we work with communities to ensure that they have the appropriate means to enjoy equal access to employment, health and education, we empower them to live a happy life.
