Meet Hadi Yehya, a Lebanese individual with special needs, on a mission to transform his passion for books into a community treasure. A Remarkable Journey: Hadi's story has touched hearts throughout the Chouf area. From participating in exhibitions to sharing his passion with buyers, he has become a symbol of determination and resilience. What began as an online venture has grown into a collection of over books in English, French, and Arabic, some generously donated by friends, family, and people across Lebanon. Vision: Creating a vibrant and inclusive community that celebrates diversity, fosters empathy, and promotes a love for reading. Mission Our mission is to establish a dynamic community library that not only provides access to a diverse collection of second-hand books but also promotes sustainability and creates economic opportunities. Through our carefully curated selection of quality second-hand books, we aim to offer affordable reading options for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Hadi's Bookstore has won a grant, through the Emdad Program implemented by the International Labour Organization under the PROSPECTS Programme, supported by the government of the Netherlands, makesense Lebanon, Cooperazione per lo Sviluppo (COSV), and Research and Professional Services for the MENA Region (RPS).
