Hadithi Crafts

Our mission is to empower the artisans in the wildlife works project area (Tsavo, Kenya) as a means to contribute to the conservation of cultural and natural heritage, and lift people out of poverty with a fair and viable income from their traditional handicrafts. Hadithi means a Story in swahili language. Each product tells its story to the consumer, who become part of the story by buying the product. We start from skills and needs present in the community in Taita Taveta. We sell traditional crafts suiting the modern world: wholesale sisal baskets, maasai beadwork, elephant paper.
