The story of Haeven begins in mid 2021 with founder Jay Sah (NIFT Bangalore Graduate) under the mentorship of ex-Myntra cofounder Vineet Saxena. The root of this innovation lies in 2016 when Jay started his first startup MyCeiling (a smart ceiling brand) moving out of his job from Livspace with a mission of bringing superior consumer experience using technology tools, providing specialized problem-solving innovative products. The combined Indian annual market of lighting & false ceiling is expected to be $ 4.5 Bn growing with 10% CAGR. The idea is to offer a complete makeover for their space via our SHOP-BY-LOOK experience on our ecommerce website, rather than selling standalone products. Standalone products leave consumers confused while they are unable to visualize its post execution effect or the overall budget while opting multiple products for single space. Towards product-centric innovations, Heaven has its own cutting edge product concepts which for sure you would not find elsewhere. While offering Plug & Play concepts, the intent is to shrink down the execution time on site from days to minutes without any dependency on technicians. Today when still around 90% of Indian house owners still don't opt for interior designer, architect or home-decor brand, instead they prefer dealing with direct contractors and labors and shop products themselves. The D2C consumer market is huge & untapped where Haeven entered as a game changer. Manufacturing unit is located in Electronics city, Bangalore and the product design-concepts are completely owned by Haeven. Although Haeven is a D2C brand, its brand acceptance can be seen through the potential B2C channel partners like Livspace, Homelane, Asian Paints, Nobroker & Urban Ladder with pan India reach. This brings a great advantage of gaining offline visibility for touch & feel via partner brand's showrooms pan India while the D2C orders, Flipkart & Amazon orders are catered online from Bangalore.
