Haines Art
I became an artist after suffering a stroke and attending Art Therapy with Art Lift 4 years ago. My first exhibition was of portraits of people who attended Art Therapy with me. It was called “We’re All Mad Here." I have had several solo exhibitions since, including an Arts Council funded exhibition of portraits of current and ex-Gloucester Rugby players shown during the Rugby World Cup. My current exhibition ‘Faith’ is currently being shown in Gloucester Cathedral until February 26th 2017. I have sold portraits as far afield as France, America and Australia.
