Halal House Foundation, Inc is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Our Mission To assist adults in overcoming adverse circumstances including: coming out of prison;"aging out" of foster care; overcoming homelessness; and overcoming negative domestic situations. Our Vision To help create communities where people are able to overcome their adversities with dignity and grace. To help create communities that are self-sufficient, healthy and strong. Our Values We believe in fresh starts and second chances. We believe in the power of the human spirit to rise above adversity and move on to create good in this life. Many people face adverse circumstances in this life and are unable to overcome them on their own. We intend to help people overcome their adversities with dignity and grace. We want to help people live a new reality. We believe in helping human beings reach their God-given potential. We believe in saving lives.
