Halcyon Portfolio Management specializes in public equity and bond markets of Eurasia. We manage the Halcyon Recovery Fund, a Cayman Island hedge fund focused on distressed markets and recovery oportunities in the Eurasian region. We employ a bottom-up, benchmark agnostic, fundamental, research-driven approach to investing, with a particular focus on investments that may benefit from reconstruction and recovery across Eurasian markets that currently trade at deep discounts to other emerging markets due to major geopolitical events and macroeconomic factors. We do not believe that these events or factors are permanent and we think that each crisis brings opportunity.
