Halifax Veterinary Hospital

In 1939, the Halifax Veterinary Hospital opened its doors and became the first established Animal Hospital Practice in the Halifax area. Dr. Ross Ainslie acquired the hospital in 1953 and since then we have been committed to offering Gold Standard Care in animal health care, promoting responsible pet ownership and health-related educational opportunities for our clients. Conveniently located within the city of Halifax, our health care team offers over 95 years of experience with extensive and ongoing training in all aspects of Veterinary medicine. We have been AAHA certified for over 25 years, we are also certified in Fear-Fee, as well as a certified GOLD Cat Friendly Practice.
