Halo Aerospace

The HALO Project (High ALtitude Observation) is a private, grassroots aerospace agency made up of professionals and volunteers. It was established on October 15th, 2012 with the mandate of getting students excited about space, science, and exploration. The CapSat program allows students to send an experiment about 35kms up, above 95% of the Earth's atmosphere, to see what effects the flight, temperature, and pressure changes will have on their experiment. The mission records high definition video footage so the students can see the payload ascend until the Earth is a glowing blue curve far below.
