We’re HALOSCOPE — The Digital Fashion Bible®. Launched in 2023, HALOSCOPE (hey-low-scope) is an online and biannual print editorial that interrogates fashion as an art, business, and cultural power, built by the next generation of fashion workers. As fashion media pivots older and more creatively conservative, we realized the lack of space for critical, sophisticated discussions about fashion and theory that also reflect the intellectual and aesthetic tastes of young people. HALOSCOPE’s origin stems from a single question: what would happen if we took fashion as seriously as any other art? As a canvas to paint on and feel? With that in mind, HALOSCOPE’s editors, contributors, and readers are free to investigate the sartorial topics that interest them and curate conversations around both current and archival topics in fashion. Our vision is to not only build an all-encompassing, elegantly designed editorial world — from essays to industry conversations to editor-picked shopping guides — but become a bellwether of a new generation that takes fashion seriously. Our editorial mission is to champion the thinkers and creators who view fashion as a powerful tool for storytelling, social analysis, and personal transformation; to write with as much spirit and study as possible; to build a community of like-minded tastemakers; and to design a new, chic roadmap of fashion’s future.
